Written by Axel-Nathaniel Rose, Directed by Eric Jiang Ten years ago, a family home burned. Both parents and three of their children died. The cause of the fire was never established. Today, Adrianne is a twenty year old student wracked with unanswered questions. She returns, for the first time, to the rebuilt house she lost as a child, and meets Buri, the young recluse who lives there, without direction in her life and is just as lost as Adrianne is. Grappling in the space between adolescence and adulthood, they forge a relationship out of the ashes of their histories. Led through twisted and surreal locations by an eccentric voice they call the ‘Game Master,’ the four friends must solve the mystery of who killed Mr. X, without letting their own suspicions about each other get in the way. Drawing inspiration from the likes of ‘Jumanji’, ‘Alice In Wonderland’, and Pina Bausch’s dance theatre, Game Over is a murder mystery, an interdimensional fantasy, and a piece of absurdist theatre rolled into one.
